Hikone Castle彦根城

Black-roof and white-wall Hikone Castle is surrounded by 1,200 sakura trees, which reflect in the dark green moats. The stunning view attracts a flood of visitors in cherry blossom season. The best way to enjoy the gorgeous blooming is taking houseboats. Specialities and foods featuring cherry blossoms are available from March 16 to May 6.
