Koganei Park debuted in 1954, however, even some residents in Tokyo have no idea of the place. Therefore, the park boasts more cherry blossom trees and less viewers. Featuring 1,700 sakura trees and 50 kinds, the spacious and secluded park is designated as one of 100 most famous cherry-blossom-viewing spots in Japan.
