Takato Castle Ruins Park高遠城址公園

Owing to the exclusive cherry blossom variety, Takato Kohigan cherry, large area and density of trees, sakura in Takato Castle Ruins Park is honoured as the best cherry blossoms under heaven. The type features smaller petals and reddish colour. Japan Alps in the distance is another highlight of cherry blossom viewing in the park.
