Built by a feudal lord in 1625, Ritsurin Park was opened to public in 1875. The park is considered as gorgeous as Japan’s three most celebrated gardens. What’s more, it was rated 3 star by Michelin Green Guide in 2009. Over 1,000 pine trees are the park’s leading characters, which are delicately pruned into diverse shapes. 320 cherry trees blooming in spring makes the park even more stunning.
