Megijima Island女木島

Megijima Island, aka Demon’s Island, is home to the demons in a Japanese traditional tale. The cavern of Onigashima, about a 30-minute walk from Megijima port, is the main scene of the legend. A 360-degree observation deck is 10 minutes on foot from the cavern, from where you can see a bird-eye view of a few small islands close to Megijima. There are approximately 3,000 cherry trees on the island and the best way to explore here is renting a bicycle at the port.
