Nijukken Sakura Avenue二十間道路桜並木

Chosen as one of Japan’s top 100 sakura viewing sites and one of Japan’s top 100 roads and heritage in Hokkaido, Shizunai Nijukken Road is definitely a must-go place to enjoy cherry blossoms in May. 3,000 cherry blossom trees stretch along the 7km long and 36-metres wide road. Remember to bring water, snacks and mat to explore this long and stunning sakura avenue.

How to visit

Access: From JR Sapporo Station, take the Donan Bus Express Pegasus and get off at Shizunai Station. From Shizunai Station, take the Donan Bus bound for Kenno and get off at Sakurafuen, then walk for 17 minutes.
