Senkoji Park is on the list of top 100 cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan because both number- 1,500 and varieties of cherry trees- some of the trees from the Miharu Takizakura in Fukushima, Jindai Cherry Tree in Yamataka and Usuzumi-zakura Cherry Tree in Gifu, which are Japan’s three oldest cherry trees.
