Featuring the ruins of Fukuoka Castle and Korokan Ruins Museum, the historic Maizuru Park houses 1,000 cherry trees. You can climb up into the citadel and get a bird-eye view of Fukuoka tower and Yahuoku Dome by the seaside. With various sports grounds and equipment, the park is good for families and children. Ohori Park with large pond just sits to the west of Maizuru Park.
