Aburayama Forest Park油山市民の森

Just 40 minutes bus ride from Hakata station, Aburayama Forest Park is a refreshing paradise on the halfway up the Mt. Abura. The park is a cluster of diverse varieties of flowers and trees, like cherry tree, wax tree, zelkova, American Sweetgum, cedar, Japanese cypress, maples and camellias, some of them from Asian and European countries. Apart from plants, the park is perfect for outdoor activities lovers. On weekends, local families often take a hike, go camping or have a picnic here.
