During cherry blossom season, no matter day and night, Meguro River is a hot spot for viewers. 800 trees blooming simultaneously along the 4000-metre sidewalk attracts tens of thousands of visitors to admire the pink flowers both on trees and river. It is hard to find a quiet place to enjoy the beautiful scenery, but it is a mercy that the neighbourhood is a hub of izakaya (pubs) and book bars.
